The Central Board of Secondary Education has announced the submission of exam forms for Classes 10 and 12. The process will begin from 9th September onwards. Students who appear in private, repeat, compartment, or improvement exams are eligible to register.
CBSE has also shared a clear subject-wise plan that explains how marks are divided between theory and practicals, the total marks for each subject, and the passing criteria of 33%.
Separate but similar notices have been given for Classes 10 and 12 so that students from every stream know exactly what to expect. This update will help thousands of students who are reappearing, looking to improve their scores, or completing pending exams, feel more confident and prepared.
Who should apply?
Private candidates: Students not enrolled in regular CBSE schools but who wish to take the exam.
Essential repeat candidates: Students who couldn’t clear the exam in earlier attempts and need to reappear for all subjects
Compartment candidates: Students who didn’t pass in one or two subjects and wish to clear them without repeating the entire exam.
Improvement of performance candidates: Students who have cleared the exam but want to improve their marks.
